The Living Like a Pirate Crew would like to encourage you to let your pirate spirit take over this New Year’s Eve. This year, December 31st, 2009, there will be a maybe-once-in-our-lifetime (well, depending on how old you are!) celestial event known as a Blue Moon.
We are sure that you are already aware that a Blue Moon is a reference to the occurrence of a full moon twice within the same calendar month. Now that doesn’t happen very often, hence the saying, “once in a Blue Moon”. The thing that makes this blue moon so special is that it happens on New Year’s Eve! The next time a Blue Moon occurs on New Year’s Eve won’t be until 2028, so don’t miss this one!
It doesn’t matter what you do, just let your inner pirate be your guide as you decide how to spend this special evening. As long as you are hunting for your own treasure, and treasuring every minute of that hunt, you are on the right track! Enjoy the end of 2009, and ring in 2010 with all the treasure you deserve!
